How it Works
If you’re a construction project stakeholder, you understand just how difficult the construction documentation & payment process is. With DrawAlert you can support best practices, experience faster cycle times while reducing costs and improving results.
A Simple Step-by-Step Guide
DrawAlert is changing the landscape of the industry. Gone are the days of piles of paperwork, disconnected systems, and a lack of transparency when it comes to a project’s draws. With our Construction Administration Software, an entire project team – from lenders to owners to contractors to subcontractors to suppliers – have access to every required document during a construction project and visibility to all relevant stakeholders.
Step 1: DrawAlert startup begins with a live onboarding process. Every single project includes our concierge services for all stakeholders.
Step 2: Project creation takes about 5 minutes. The project initiator includes the DrawAlert contract addenda and supporting materials with their requests for proposal.
Step 3: The first prime contractor is invited to the project.
Step 4: Prime contractors create the construction schedule of values and invite subcontractors.
Step 5: All stakeholders add their respective required compliance documentation to the portal.
Step 6: Stakeholders upload invoices & waivers for review and the appropriate stakeholder reviews and approves payment applications.
Step 7: The funding source initiates the “DrawAlert” every time a draw is issued, and all stakeholders are notified. Stakeholders submit payment confirmations.
Step 8: Enhanced integration options for accounting systems for the Prime Contractor, Owner and Lender teams makes any accounting needs simple when utilizing DrawAlert.
Step 9: At the close out phase participants are encouraged to provide feedback on the project with our industry leading bi-directional rating system in the resource directory. Warranty & Close Out documentation is uploaded prior to the release of retention.
Every step of the project is supported by our customer support team and our unique concierge onboarding process. Typically, it takes less than 30 minutes for a new project owner to create their user profile, create their first project and invite their Prime Contractor.
