A Simple Step-by-Step Guide
DrawAlert is changing the landscape of the construction industry. Gone are the days of piles of paperwork, disconnected systems, and a lack of transparency when it comes to a construction project’s draws. With this simple construction administration software, an entire construction team – from lenders to owners to contractors to subcontractors to suppliers – have access to every required document during a construction project and visibility to all relevant stakeholders.
Step 1: DrawAlert startup begins during the bidding process. The project owner includes the DrawAlert contract addenda and supporting materials with their request for proposal. These can be found at the bottom of this page.
Step 2: The owner creates a project in the cloud-based system and invites their first prime contractor to the project. Owners can also invite additional prime contractors, lenders or other collaborators they want to have access to the project.
Step 3: The prime contractor invites their subcontractors and lien company to DrawAlert, giving everyone on that construction project access to a shared project dashboard.
Step 4: All stakeholders add their respective required compliance documentation to the portal, monthly waivers and supporting documents and then their close out and warranty documentation.
Step 5: The funding source initiates the “DrawAlert” every time a draw is issued, and all stakeholders are notified along with payment confirmations.
Step 6: At the close out phase participants are encouraged to provide feedback on the project with our industry leading bi-directional rating system that provides an honest project scorecard and adds content to each stakeholder’s DA Rating in the resource directory.
Every step of the project is supported by our customer support team and our unique concierge onboarding process. Typically, it only takes 15 minutes for a new project owner to create their user profile, generate their first project and invite their Prime Contractor.
Cloud-Based Construction Administration Software
DrawAlert uses a secure, collaborative platform hosted by Microsoft Azure. Azure’s industry leading 99.99% availability service level agreement (SLA), powered by a global network of Microsoft-managed data centers, helps keep DrawAlert running 24/7. DrawAlert uses Azure SQL Database to take advantage of built-in security, fault tolerance, and data protection. In addition, if the data center hosting the DrawAlert database experiences an outage, we can restore the data from geo-redundant copies of recent backups.
We offer a very competitive per project or subscription model for Owners and Lenders to utilize the solution. There are affordable per-project fees of $450.00 for Prime Contractors and $75.00 for Subcontractors.
