Enhance Certificate of InsuranceGreat news!

As part of our continuing effort to support efficiencies on construction projects, DrawAlert is rolling out a major new feature: Enhanced Certificate of Insurance Management.

With this feature, Project Owners can now specify insurance requirements when they create their project. These requirements will be visible to all contractors on the project.

Contractors can then upload a C.O.I. to the same Document Library they use for pre-liens, waivers and other documents. Owners and other appropriate stakeholders can quickly review that C.O.I. or download it for their own records.

If an uploaded Certificate of Insurance does not meet the project requirements relevant stakeholders will be notified. Editing or updating a C.O.I. only takes a moment.

The new feature also has reminder functionality, with the system providing notifications 30 days, 15 days and 24 hours ahead of the expiration of a C.O.I. for the appropriate stakeholders. C.O.I. alerts also appear on the Notifications Landing Page so users have an “at-a-glance” view of the status with Certificates.

Please note that this feature release will not impact any closed projects or those in close out status.

We added this functionality based on specific customer feedback and requests. If you have any questions or need additional support, please feel free to contact us at support@drawalert.com.

Thanks for being part of the solution!
